Chocolate Syrup

Chocolate Syrup is widely use product in various recipes, mostly in toppings like desserts, pancakes, ice creams and milk shakes. Its very easy to made at home by only 3 products, here’s a simple recipe of chocolate syrup:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of granulated sugar.
  • 1 cup of water (room temperature).
  • Pinch of salt.
  • Half cup of unsalted cocoa powder.
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence.

 INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Combine all the dry ingredients in a small pan, then whisk the sugar, salt and cocoa powder very well. 
  • Now add water slowly into the dry ingredients and stir very well, make sure to dissolve every lump nicely.
  • Place the pan on a medium heat and let it simmer for 2 minutes until it turns into a slightly thick paste.
  • After getting desired thickness remove from the heat and add vanilla drops and mix well.
  • Let the syrup cool down and pour it into the glass jar and store it into the fridge for 2-3 weeks.
