Chocolate Syrup is widely use product in various recipes, mostly in toppings like desserts, pancakes, ice creams and milk shakes. Its very easy to made at home by only 3 products, here’s a simple recipe of chocolate syrup:
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup of granulated sugar.
- 1 cup of water (room temperature).
- Pinch of salt.
- Half cup of unsalted cocoa powder.
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Combine all the dry ingredients in a small pan, then whisk the sugar, salt and cocoa powder very well.
- Now add water slowly into the dry ingredients and stir very well, make sure to dissolve every lump nicely.
- Place the pan on a medium heat and let it simmer for 2 minutes until it turns into a slightly thick paste.
- After getting desired thickness remove from the heat and add vanilla drops and mix well.
- Let the syrup cool down and pour it into the glass jar and store it into the fridge for 2-3 weeks.
