Sweet Lassi

Sweet Lassi is a traditional drink in Asia. This popular drink work as a booster in morning. Its very easy to make at home with few items only, here are the ingredients:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1-2 cups of plain yogurt.
  • Half cup of water (you can use milk also).
  • Pinch of cardamom powder.
  • 2 tablespoon of sugar (or according to taste).
  • Ice cubes.
  • Pistachio or almond chunks (optional).

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Blend:

Add yogurt, water, sugar, ice cubes and cardamom powder in a blender and blend until smooth texture.

  • Adjustments:

Now taste the Lassi and do adjustments if needed like sweetness and consistency, by adding more sugar and yogurt.

  • Serve and Enjoy:

Pour the Lassi into the glasses and garnish with cardamom powder or pistachio chunks, enjoy the delicious and refreshing drink.

Using of yogurt topically also very beneficial as it contain anti-oxidants, it moisturize the skin and control skin problems.

  • Heart health:

Low fat yogurt is very good for heart as it control the cholesterol levels and maintain the blood pressure. It prevent from the heart diseases.
