A watermelon slushy is a delicious and simple recipe for summer kick. Its best for hydrating and refreshing in summer days. Its very light in texture and best for digestion.
INGREDIENTS:
- 5 cup of watermelon cubes , seedless and fresh.
- 1 or 2 tablespoon of honey (optional).
- Ice cubes.
- 2 tablespoon of lime juice.
- Fresh mint leaves for taste and garnish.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Prepare:
Now prepare the watermelon, cut the watermelon into small cubes and remove the seeds.
- Blending:
Add watermelon cubes into the blender and add honey to make it more sweet (optional).
- Lime/lemon juice:
Now add few drops or 2 tablespoon of lime juice to enhance the taste if you like the citrusy twist.
- Mint leaves:
Add mint leaves in blender 2,3 leaves only for refreshing taste (optional).
- Blend and Strain:
Blend everything until smooth texture, now strain if you prefer smoother texture . You can strain and remove the pulp.
- Pour and Serve:
Now pour juice into the glasses, add ice cubes (optional). Garnish the glasses with lime slice and mint on top.
